A Boogie just came through with a couple of life updates: 1) He’s not romantically involved, and 2) He has no plans to welcome any more children… at least not anytime soon.
The Bronx rapper shared the seemingly random news via Instagram this week, simply writing, “Single and nobody pregnant by me.” The Story, which concluded with a crying laughing emoji, was reshared on The Shade Room’s social media pages, where fans expressed skepticism over A Boogie’s intentions and motives.
As pointed out by TSR, some questioned why A Boogie would make the declaration without providing additional context. Many were convinced that the 29-year-old rapper was preemptively shutting down pregnancy rumors, while others believed he was trying to make his baby mama, Ella Bands, feel some type of way.
“Somebody must have tried to put a baby on him,” one fan commented, “Cus whet?”
“Ella must’ve finally moved tf on fr this time!” another wrote. “Love that for her!”
“Sounds a little shady…” someone added. “SO WHO IS PREGNANT?”
“Lol he trynna clear it before it comes out,” another fan theorized.

A Boogie has not shared any more details on the post, including what prompted him to share it. The 29-year-old rapper and Ella reportedly began nearly 10 years ago and have maintained an amicable co-parenting relationship throughout their on-again, off-again romance. They welcomed their first child, a daughter named Melody Valentine, in 2017, and their second, a son named Artist Jr., in June 2020.
Ella Bands confirmed her and A Boogie’s split in a May 2024 Snapchat post shared by NoirOnline. The influencer/businesswoman said she and the rapper had called it quits several months prior.
It’s very hard for him to take me serious when I say I don’t want to be together bc of course I took him back so many times,” she said before addressing the claims that their breakup was just for publicity. “We have never pulled a publicity stunt… we’ve been together for years.”
Ella went on to say that she will always support A Boogie and wants “to see him at his best,” even if the feelings weren’t mutual.
“I’ve always been that way with him, he’s really my best friend even though he’s also my biggest hater,” she joked. “JK, but I really just want the best for him… I’m always rooting for him & at the end of the day he is my kids’ father. Together or not, I still feel like we represent each other…
“I see nothing wrong with giving a man a chance to change especially when kids are involved,” she continued before alluding to infidelity. “And I’m not going to leave my man who I know loves me (cheating or not I know he does) just to get with the next man who’s going to do the same thing, because that’s what men with money do. After a while, it becomes draining & toxic. Moral of the story is I tried, lmao. I feel all relationships turn to sh-t so I chose to stay in mine as long as the man was trying but sometimes its too late.”
