There’s nothing more rewarding than seeing students transform raw ideas into fully realised releases, and today, we’re proud to celebrate a special milestone. Our own Leah Haworth has released her first single of the year, Ten, on our in-house label, pointblank Recordings.

Leah has shared that ‘Ten’ was written and produced in her bedroom at just 19 years old, a detail that perfectly reflects the song’s DIY spirit and personal production style. For listeners drawn to soft pop textures and honest, close-up storytelling, this is a track that quickly feels like home.
For those discovering Leah for the first time, she’s a singer-songwriter originally from Lancashire, known for delicate acoustic ballads and emotionally grounded songwriting. She picked up the guitar at 11 and later moved to London at 16 to study at The BRIT School, where she began sharpening the artistic voice that now defines her sound. That deep-rooted love of songwriting is unmistakable – you can hear emotional honesty threaded through every release.
Leah later joined pointblank Music School to study for a BA (Hons) in Music Business, before signing to pointblank Recordings in 2022. She released her first single with the label in February 2024, To The Moon and Back, which quickly surpassed 100,000 streams. Momentum has only continued to build. Her 2024 EP, Here in the Stars, recently passed 300,000 streams on Spotify.
What stands out most about Leah’s artistry is her ability to balance simplicity with emotional depth.
