HoRNet has brought back the limited-time freebie offer on Graffio, its feature-packed multiband distortion plugin, this time as a free download for 48 hours only. The offer ends on October 3rd, so you’ll need to move quickly if you want to add this one to your collection.
Graffio is a plugin that we’ve seen as a freebie before (back in October 2023), but if you missed it then, now’s your chance to grab it. Normally priced at €11.99, it’s one of those small but mighty HoRNet tools that offers more than you’d expect for the cost (or in this case, for free).
At its core, Graffio is a three-band distortion unit. Each band comes with its own set of processors: a saturator, an exciter, and a bit reducer.
That means you can dial in anything from subtle warmth and harmonic enhancement to total digital destruction across lows, mids, and highs.
You also get adjustable crossover points, individual blend controls, and per-band output levels, which makes Graffio surprisingly flexible for shaping distortion in very specific frequency ranges.
From the perspective of a sound designer, I like how this flexibility opens the door to a lot of creative use cases. It’s really useful for adding detail to cinematic whooshes and impacts, bringing out specific frequencies that may lack a bit of distortion.
But it works for mixing, too. You can beef up a snare with just the right amount of grit, add sparkle to hats and cymbals, push your kick drum for more punch, or dial in full-on chaos for synths, guitars, or bass.
Each processor has a mix knob, so it’s easy to find the right balance between subtle coloration and extreme sound mangling.
One of the strengths of Graffio is its efficiency. It runs with low CPU usage in standard mode, but if you want higher fidelity, there’s also a 4x oversampling option for cleaner results.
You can also bypass the multiband setup entirely and run Graffio in full-band mode, which is handy when you want a consistent distortion character across an entire signal.

The one potential downside is the user interface, which feels a little cramped compared to more modern plugin designs. It’s not bad by any means, but there are a lot of controls packed into a relatively small space.
Once you get used to the layout, though, it’s not an issue, and the plugin more than makes up for it with functionality.
Overall, Graffio is a versatile distortion tool that covers everything from subtle enhancement to full-on sound destruction. If you enjoy sculpting your tones with multiband control, it’s definitely worth the download.
HoRNet Graffio is available for free until October 3rd, 2025. The plugin runs on Windows (7 and up) and macOS (10.9 and up), with support for VST3, AU, and AAX formats in 64-bit.
