Rob Papen has introduced a new synthesizer geared towards plucky sounds. Allowing users to create combinations of up to 3 layers, WirePluck features a newly developed “Wire” sound source, alongside custom Karplus physical modelling synthesis, 3-operator FM, and subtractive synthesis.
The synth also comes with various effects modules, arpeggiator, chord memory, modulation, and more.
At the heart of WirePluck are the three layers made up from four selectable source synthesis types, which allow you to create new synthesizer pluck sounds! And nope… the focus is not in recreating real acoustic instruments, but creating new inspirational sounds!
The user interface has been laid out in the Main screen in a way that allows for fast editing using the most important parameters, selecting different ARP presets, and selecting the ‘Advance’ screen on which all available parameters can be tweaked.
Available for Windows and Mac (VST/VST3, AU and AAX), WirePluck is priced $49 USD / €49 EUR at Plugin Boutique and from the Rob Papen store.
The plugin has also been added to the eXplorer-10 bundle at no additional charge.
