Kenneth “Lil’ Woody” Copeland and three other individuals have been accused of participating in a large-scale street racing event in southeast Atlanta.
On Saturday, Atlanta police responded to reports of street racing near Memorial Drive and Candler Road Southeast where they reportedly encountered over 100 vehicles and numerous pedestrians blocking the roadway. Several cars were allegedly “laying drag,” fireworks were being set off, and some participants were believed to be armed.
Copeland was identified by WSB-TV as a suspect in the same racing operation and jail records show he was arrested in June. He is facing multiple charges, including reckless stunt driving, laying drags, and driving with a suspended license. He was later transferred to Gwinnett County on July 3 and any potential charges there remain unknown.

The three other individuals whom police arrested after stopping a fleeing vehicle were Katelyn Gamboa-Carrillo, Anthony Behena-Aviles, and Emanuel Garcia-Relasco. All three were charged with participation in street racing, while Behena-Aviles was charged with theft by receiving a stolen firearm and felony obstruction and Garcia-Relasco was charged with reckless driving, fleeing and eluding.
Copeland gained notoriety after receiving immunity to testify against Young Thug in his RICO trial for repeatedly telling prosecutors, “I don’t recall.” Thug, accused of leading a gang under the guise of his YSL rap label, ultimately pleaded guilty to some charges and received probation. Copeland faced no penalties due to his immunity deal.
