Justin and Hailey Bieber are allegedly going through a rough patch in their relationship.
A source told Entertainment Tonight that the couple is “struggling” in their marriage.
“Justin has been getting irritated easily and feels like Hailey can be superficial about the way their relationship looks in the public eye, and Justin’s lack of motivation has been upsetting for her,” the source told the news outlet.
“Their friends think they can salvage their marriage — and they both want that — but right now things are not good,” the source added.
Justin and Hailey began dating in 2014 and tied the knot four years later. They welcomed their first child, Jack Blues Bieber, last August.
Rumors of a rift between the couple were ignited after Hailey was seen in New York City without her wedding ring last Friday (June 20). The following day, she shared a mirror selfie donning the ring again.
Justin recently went viral after a heated confrontation with paparazzi outside of Malibu’s Soho House saw him misusing African American Vernacular English (AAVE).
“You’re not getting it. It’s not clocking to you. It’s not clocking to you that I’m standing on business, is it?” said Bieber in the viral clip that has since inspired countless memes and a TikTok remix shared by the singer himself.
On the other hand, Hailey recently landed her first solo cover for Vogue. Days later, it was announced that her skincare brand, Rhode, was acquired by e.l.f. Cosmetics for $800 million in cash and stock with the potential of an additional $200 million payout based on the brand’s performance over the next three years.
