Splice Sounds has introduced a new sound pack from the Test Press label. A collection of sounds made entirely from the creative processing of acoustic sources, Acoustic Design is primarily a drum and percussion library, recorded, played and processed by KOAN Sound.
We’ve covered a range of genres and tempos, such as Drum & Bass, Garage and Hip-Hop, all with a unique acoustic sound tailored to fit modern production styles. We also explored the potential of other acoustic instruments, creating neuro-bass sounds from double bass recordings and ambient textures from a grand piano, representing a continuation of our sound design principles and philosophy.
Serum 2 users can grab a new soundset by one of the leading producers/artists in the industry. The Garage Essentials collection features sounds that reference the new and old-school sounds of UK Garage, House, Speed Garage, 2-step, Bassline House, and more.
We’ve packed the product with presets and samples used by artists such as Sammy Virji, Bush Baby, Oppidan, Groove Chronicles, Sunship, Steve Gurley etc, and more. We’ve designed each preset to use all of Serum 2’s parameters and to be as intuitive as possible.
Also available is a new sound pack for the Phase Plant software synthesizer from Kilohearts. Nu Skool Garage comes with all the essentials to get your Speed Garage and Bass House productions rolling.
The product references artists such as MPH, Bushbaby, and more. Inside, you’ll find the sounds they use in their productions, from classic melodic and reese-style basses to drums, chords, leads, pads, FX noises, and more. As always, each preset is intuitively designed.
