Male exotic dancer Sharay ‘The Punisher’ Hayes expressed sympathy for Casandra ‘Cassie’ Ventura over the singer being allegedly abused by Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
Haynes testified last week during Diddy’s sex trafficking and racketeering trial in New York, recounting his alleged participation in Diddy’s “freak-offs.” On Wednesday (May 28), Haynes was a guest on CNN and spoke to anchor Laura Coates years after his alleged interactions with the former couple.
Haynes said that he felt “complete anxiety” while testifying and added that he was not “mentally prepared” for the courtroom. The adult entertainer also reflected on his first encounter with Diddy and Cassie, saying that he was “instructed” not to interact with the Bad Boy Entertainment founder.
“And so I just saw it as an opportunity,” he told Coates. “I see this stunningly beautiful woman and $2,000 for this type of interaction was kind of like a no-brainer in terms of it. So I wanted to follow the directions as much as possible.”
Haynes also claimed that Ventura appeared to consent to the interactions and denied that he witnessed her being assaulted. “So the only thing I can say is
maybe they were trying to show another element of control,” he said. “And even though in my case, it wasn’t forceful, aggressive, but it’s still another dynamic that maybe they were trying to establish.”
The dancer ended by explaining why he “would apologize” to Ventura if given the chance. “I would apologize because I had no idea and no indication
what she was going through,” he said. “Obviously, my involvement kind of furthered her suffering.”
Haynes added that as a man raised by a single mother, it was “tough to hear” that Ventura was allegedly abused. “I would just apologize to her and tell her that I was really remorseful and regret if I contributed to a bad experience,” he concluded.
While on the stand, Haynes claimed that he’d been hired by Diddy and Ventura between eight to twelve times to “create a sexy scene” that the music mogul would watch.
“[Diddy] would at some point come into the room, sit in the distance, gave subtle directions to Ms. Ventura based on…angles, lighting, positionings, and sometimes the sexual activity,” Hayes alleged.
Ventura gave her testimony just days before, alleging that some of the “horrible” freak-offs resulted in her having oral sores and frequent UTIs.
