Objeq Delay features a delay module with two delay lines (input and feedback loop) that can deliver standard effects, such as the classic ping-pong delay. But, it’s by no means a standard delay plugin.
It’s the additional modules that make Objeq Delay different, including an LFO module that delivers a range of modulation effects (flanger, chorus, etc.)
You also have Filter and Mixer modules, but the star of the show is undoubtedly the Object module.
The Object module processes and filters the input signal through a range of selectable acoustic resonators. This module comes before the delay, so you can quite dramatically alter the timbre and character before passing through the delay module.
The available objects are a beam, a drumhead, a plate, and a string. Once you choose an object, you can set its reference pitch, decay time of the resonances, and even where the object is struck.
When a plugin has been around for a while and has been made available in previous offers, it’s sometimes easier to dismiss.
